Find the Right Heating System
Forced Air Heating
Forced air furnaces incorporate technology that offer premium and energy-efficient comfort features such as two-stage gas valves and variable speed blower motors for more precise temperature control, fewer temperature swings, and quieter operation.
Forced air furnaces are likely the most sensible choice for heating if your home has existing ductwork. They can be adapted to incorporate heating zones for optimal comfort and increased efficiency.
Furnaces can also be combined with accessories such as humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and air purifiers to improve air quality.
Hydronic Heating
Hot water heat can replace or complement forced air heat. Natural gas boilers or electric mini boilers work with radiators, cast iron baseboards, or in-floor tubing to provide radiant heat throughout an entire home or parts of the home. Mudrooms, bathrooms, and basements are popular spaces for radiant heat.
Air Source Heat Pump Heating
Heat pump technology uses electricity to provide both heating and cooling by moving thermal energy instead of burning fuel. Homeowners choose heat pumps for energy efficiency, lower utility bills, and a reduced carbon footprint.
In Minnesota, due to our exceptionally cold winters, a back up heat source is required. A heat pump system will switch from electric (heat pump) to gas (furnace/boiler) during the coldest months to keep your home comfortable all year long.
